This recipe is just totally Purplicious Perfection! And by Purplicious Perfection I mean, well... whatever it means.
Today you are going to be blown away with this awesome-scrumptiously-delicious-thingy-ma-bobber, also known as the MONSTER BLOOD MUFFINS! Don't worry, there not made with green gooey stuff. Well, unless you want them to!
INGREDIENTS
Bake = 400 degrees
Time = 18 minutes
Makes = 1 batch
1 3/4 cup of flour
1/2 cup of sugar
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/4 teaspoons of salt
1 beaten egg
3/4 cup of milk
1/4 cup of cooking oil (preferably Canola Oil)
1/4 cup of lemon juice
7 drops of blue food coloring
4 or 5 drops of green food coloring
6 blueberries, cut in half
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray one muffin pan with pan spray and set aside. First, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Take the beaten egg and add to the mixture. DO NOT MIX. Then, add the other liquid ingredients. DO NOT ADD BLUEBERRIES. THEY ARE A TOPPING FOR THE MUFFINS. Put the muffin mixture into the muffin pan and put in oven for 400 degrees, once it has beeped and said that it was fully heated.
Take muffins out of oven and set them on a platform to cool. Then, cut each of the blueberries in half and put them in a bowl. If you would like, I will show you how to make this delicious lemon sauce to drizzle on top. You're going to need it to make the blueberries stick! First, you don't need a stove, so go pack it away in some corner of your mind so that you don't worry about it. Second, grab 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 a cup of lemon juice. Mix. Easiest thing ever, right?
Drizzle lemon sauce all (I repeat ALL) over the muffins and grab you son, daughter, brother, or sister and tell them an alien is attacking your muffins and the only way to save them is if you eat them all, and if that doesn't work, tell them that you need their help to stick the TWO blueberry eyeballs on EACH muffin.
Finally, sit back relax, and let everyone in your family praise what a good chef you are!
