Chidren of the North Star

I can tell that by the time you looked at the title of this post you were interested. How do I know this? Well, its your choice. I'm either psychic or obviously talented with titles. What do you choose?

This is the FIRST post ever that I am going to show you my amazingly awesome writing skills, with proper grammar, of course.  And here is one of my drafts to demonstrate.

Eleanor looked up at the clear blue sky and carefully concealed her tears under the veil of black covering her face. She had failed. Of all the things that she had done, this was the worst. She could hear a part of herself saying optimistically, It's not your fault you lost the Prince and Princess of the Stars to a witch. She was just too powerful. Another part of Eleanor's mind argued saying, All she did was shoot you with a weak flame thrower spell and YOU RAN AWAY, leaving Prince Alexander and Princess Elizabeth to FIGHT FOR THEMSELVES! What kind of sorceress are you?!?!  Eleanor quietly told herself to shut up and sat up.

Ever since she had ran away from the Prince and Princess, she hid in a place called Earth. It was rather polluted and everyone talked in a weird, jumbled language, but she felt that compared to what she did, this was the perfect place for her.

As Eleanor started to stand up, men with large what seemed to be weapons aimed directly at her and yelled their strange language. "What?" she said.

A man with a huge mustache and an army outfit on looked at her like she was a bug that was too pathetic to squash. "Mam, this is military territory. I need to ask you to leave immediately," he barked. Eleanor wiped the spit from her hair and tried to interpret what they meant. By the way the man looked, it seemed that he was threatening her. "Make me," she answered lowly.

Surprised at her response, the man lowered his gun, then hightened it again. The men behind him got ready to shoot. "Fine," he said. "Have it your way." The man turned towards the other people and grinned. "Get ready, set, fire!"
